What are your thoughts about cryptocurrency?
An earlier prompt asked about personal philosophies. I don’t think I have one, but the title of this post could serve as part of a philosophy.
Cryptocurrency has been around for many years. When I first heard about bitcoin I tried to understand what it was about and couldn’t. So I didn’t invest.
I know how the stock market works, so we have a small number of shares. Most of our investments – our personal pensions – are tied to stocks and shares, which is fine.
But the volatility and security concerns around cryptocurrency and the increased issues with the environmental impact of the computer power needed means I am unhappy investing in these products.
